How to listen and speak at On-Line Meetings
You can listen and speak at On-Line Meetings. Follow these simple instructions:
- Go to www.PalTalk.com
- Click "Download PalTalk Now"
- Note: This is free, but takes a while with a dial-up connection.
- Get a nickname and a password.
- Consult the schedule below to see the time for the meeting you want to go to:
- 15 minutes before meeting starts, Click on PalTalk Messenger
- Type in your nickname and password
- Click LOGIN
- Click ALLOW (if necessary)
- Click CONFIRM EMAIL LATER (if necessary)
- Click ACTIONS
- Click JOIN A CHAT ROOM
- Click HEALTH RELATED & BODY
- Click OVERCOMING ADDICTION
- Click VOICES OF NICOTINE RECOVERY (this will only be available during the meetings and 15 minutes before hand)
Note: To be able to activity participate (i.e., speak) connect a microphone up to your computer. This is VERY easy, and costs about $15 at Circuit City. If you don't have a microphone, you can still listen to the meetings and/or "type-share."
